We are pleased to announce that in the latest step on the journey towards total manufacturing excellence, that Polystar Plastics have achieved BRC/IOP certification.
After a two day audit on December 6 & 7th the QAI auditor was pleased to announce that Polystar had achieved the standard.
On the day the auditor drew special attention to the cleanliness and suitability of the new production area.
His comments were that it was both evident how clean and efficient our production process was and the direction the whole business was taking in the long run.
Mark Cupit, the companies BRC and compliance manager, who has been with the business since April 2018 said it is testament to everybody’s dedication and commitment that we were able to certify only seven months after he joined the company. Mark commented, “My thanks go out to all who have worked tirelessly towards this stage, the difference was the willingness of all involved to take ownership of what we were asking.”
Polystar continues its growth drive focussing on new supply opportunities in producing food grade polythene bags for consumer sectors. They are pleased to announce that with the new extruders and conversion equipment on order for 2019, they really have become a positive choice for flexible film manufacturing.
