Positively Recognised by the House of Commons

This week, the team here at Polystar are thrilled to have been recognised by the House of Commons for the hard work that has taken place in adapting the business to provide PPE equipment. The quote from parliament included:

“Some industries have worked brilliantly to address the situation they find themselves in and, indeed, to help. Polystar Plastics in Southampton, which is run by a constituent of mine, is now producing millions of PPE aprons—something it had never done before. Of course, it is looking for contracts and at how the Government’s tendering system will make sure there are opportunities for UK suppliers so that we do not maintain our dependence on those from overseas.”

Our Commercial Director, Suchin Talwar has said “It’s an honour that our work and commitment has been recognised by the House of Commons. With a newly constructed facility dedicated to the production of PPE, we are proud to have become Europe’s largest supplier for disposable aprons”
